My time at Roland Foods was a designer’s dream job. The women-led team really trusted me as a young designer and gave me the creative freedom to visually give their global products life.

During my time there, I designed over 20 different product lines including specialty vinegars from Italy, quinoa in the traditional and dessert varieties, and tinned fish before hot girls ate tinned fish.

From being featured in Alison Roman’s Nothing Fancy to being the subject of Bella McGoldrick’s fine art sold on Tappan Collective, I would say these sardines were universally loved.

We were even knocked off by H&M – a story for another time, but truly a feeling of “I’ve finally I’ve made it!”
